JANUARY. Hello 2007.
- The year started off with a blast. I passed the ACET! At the very moment that I clearly saw my name on The List, I heard someone whispering to my ear, “Welcome to the Ateneo!” Yippee! Add to that the fact that my scholarship was also granted! Double yippee!
We celebrated the event by getting ourselves that Grande Mango Shake at Fruitas. Grande Headache, afterwards.
- I also got the UPCAT results – yay, I passed too! I got into the BS Computer Science program (in UPD) but since Ateneo’s offer was too good to be true, well, goodbye UP and hello Ateneo!
- Baby Denise was born on the 7th of January, on her grandpa’s birthday.
FEBRUARY. Ze Love Month.
- I became a Computer teacher for a week. I enjoyed the Students’ Week, for I got excused from all of my subjects. Tee-hee.
- BAGUIO LALALOOVE.
The Nationals! It was my first time:
- To ride a bus on my own (on my own – without family. The nearest to family was our club moderator Mrs. Patrocinio).
- To ride a bus for a reason other than plain field trips.
- To be away from home for a whole week.
- To go to SM Baguio, Teachers’ Camp, PMA, Botanical Garden, Baguio City High, etc, etc.
- To complete the ‘50 beetles’ thing. If you don’t know that, well, it’s just that you have to find 50 Volkswagen (folksvagen
) beetles and the first person to tap you will be your.. err, soulmate? Haha.
There were lots of Beetles all over Baguio so it was easy to complete the 50-car count.
- To join a parade! Sweet. We walked the whole stretch of Session Road. (Do you know how long the road is?) Tiring but it’s a great experience!
- To see a REAL mahjong game.
- To cry in a public restaurant (eek).
- Lots of firsts.
MARCH. Goodbye HS.
- Seniors’ Night. SN 1: First time to dance with Yanni (even without music).
And it was the first time, too (I think), that St. Scho allowed an SN to happen. SN 2: Erm, second time to dance with Yanni? Haha.
And I got the chance to meet lots of former schoolmates.
- Graduation. No teary-eyed moments though, how queer.
APRIL. This is my month, ho-ho.
- Experienced the best Easter of my life.
- Became a newspaper girl (for BH, that is).
- Was mistaken for a 20-ish girl. *Waaat?*
- Had the best birthday celebration with dear friends.
MAY. is a month?
- I was one of the finalists in the Candy Teen Blog Awards 2007! Cool.
- First time to go commuting (inside the subdivision, haha).
- First time to encounter a really BIG grasshopper.
- Said hello to a new blogging home, WordPress! *yays*
- Became part of The Band for the YFC Camp.
JUNE. Hello Collegio. *this month deserves to be BLUE
- College life’s the best!
Been through ORSEM, RegWeek, and RecWeek. Got into EntStrat (not into the Features of Guidon). - More commuting experiences. Haha!
JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER. More college stress. Think Ma11 midterms – and finals. OMG, that was hell. ;_; Song of the months: Lost by Michael Buble. Haha!
The only grand thing that happened in the span of these months was that I was already a confirmed Catholic (if my memory serves me well, I think it happened last September 22).
NOVEMBER. Hello & goodbye.
- Hello final marks. I got into The List! Yippee!
- We had to give up Tini.
- Second dog – Sandy.
- SECOND SEM!
- and… Yanni’s birthday!
- Last visit to Doulos.
DECEMBER. Last month of the year.
Actually, 2007 was the most exciting year of all.
Words just can’t capture the beauty of this year.

Nakakatuwang balikan ang nakaraan, ano?
Parang kailan lang e pasayaw-sayaw lang tayo…
Tapos ngayon, college na (2nd year na)…
February 18, 2008 at 8:56 pm
As if naman “pasayaw-sayaw” lang ang ginawa nung 4th year!
Hell din yun, pero walang sinabi yun sa college! X)
February 20, 2008 at 10:03 pm
…pero alam mo ba yung pinakapainful moment n’ung 4th year?
…nung sinabihan ako ng guard na kailangang may takong sandals ko..
Hahaha!
I definitely AGREE.
