On writing with simplicity (edited!)

I saw this picture link in Kring’s blog and so, I decided to give it a try.

Woot.

At least napaninindigan ko ang pagiging CHILDLIKE ng aking blog. Yays.

Speaking out in complex sentences with highfalutin (defined by Merriam-Webster as “expressed in or marked by the use of high-flown bombastic language”) words doesn’t work for me. Simplicity is my key “secret” because my aim of writing is to express and inform more than to impress people.

Simplicity easily gets the message across without the risk of misinterpretation. No sweat basahin, kung baga, hindi na kailangan ang tulong ni Mr. Webster para maintindihan ang sinasabi.

I am not against the highly-intellectual blogs. Ok rin yun. Pero kung ang layunin mo ay mabasa ng madla ang iyong sinulat, mas masaya kung simpleng mga salita na lamang ang mga gagamitin. Suggestion lang
