Whoever said “it’s impossible” probably didn’t experience a winning streak in his entire lifetime.
Remember my post about my sleeplessness – especially the part wherein I have computed mentally the grades that I needed to get into The List?
- I knew about the B+ in Physical Education – yayness, but so what? It’s not actually included in the computation of the Quality Point Index (QPI).
- Through the Ateneo Integrated Student Information System (AISIS) website also, I was able to know that I aced Chemistry (lecture). Great.
- Our English teacher posted our final marks on her Multiply site. I got a B (dropping from a 3.5 to a 3). Not so great.
- I computed the grades I needed to get into the list. (cxlv: Haha, I edited this one, ayoko ng stalkers!
)
You know what, I actually got what I asked for! I even got an A in Chemistry lab! Getting into The List is more of a wake-upper for me than a dream come true. Yes, it’s quite an achievement, but then I realized that I can ACTUALLY surpass the expectations I have for myself.
I can actually do it. WOW. I am soooo thankful, even though I am running out of words to say.
This 2nd semester is Magis time.
I’ve got to surpass that B in Ma19, since a B in Math would mean 18 points; a B+, 21 points; an A, 24 points. Ma19 is a 6-unit subject, mind you.
I’ve got to brush up on my Physics – thoughts at the speed of light!
Just wish me luck with my [new] professors in Fil12, En12, and Lit14.
Late edit: Only my Fil prof is new, Sir Tenorio. En&Lit profs are still the same. (23 Dec 2007)

I agree with you. We really have to burn our reserves for Ma 19. Are you ready for this?

Woot, Mama actually bought me a Calculus book. I flipped through the pages and said,
“Hindi biro ang Math 19!!”
I think I’d like that review thingy.
